Refund policy
If season one does not do it for you, tell us within 24 hours and we will refund it. No form, no reason required.
We think you will want to finish it. That is the whole of our confidence in this, and a refund policy is the honest way to say so rather than a claim on a sales page.
How to ask
Reply to your receipt, or write to hello@leastsuspected.com from the address you bought with. Say you would like a refund. You do not have to explain why, and nobody will try to talk you out of it.
The window
Twenty-four hours from the moment of purchase. A season is about an hour of audio, so a day is long enough to have heard the thing you are deciding about.
If you miss the window, write anyway. This is a one-person show, not a billing department, and if something went wrong we would rather fix it than hold you to a clock.
What happens
- The refund goes back to the card or account you paid with, through Stripe. We never see or hold your card details.
- Stripe typically returns the money in five to ten business days. That part is your bank's timing, not ours.
- Your access to the paid site and your private feed stop when the refund is issued. The episodes stay free in the public feed, one a week, as they do for everyone.
The AI voices
Every voice in this show is synthetic, including the narrator, and that is disclosed at the top of every episode, on the sales page and in the feed before you can buy. If you listen and find it is not for you, that is exactly what this refund policy is for. We would rather return $3.99 than have somebody feel they were sold something they did not expect.
Your statutory rights
This policy is something we offer on top of the law, not instead of it. Nothing here takes away any right you have under the consumer law where you live — which, in the EU and the UK, generally includes a longer cancellation period for digital content. Where your local law gives you more than 24 hours, your local law wins.
Chargebacks
If you would rather go to your bank, that is your right and we will not contest it. Writing to us is simply faster: a refund is same-day and a chargeback takes weeks.
