There is no ticket system, no chatbot and no hold music. One email, answered in a day or so.

Adding your private feed to a podcast app

Your private feed is a web address only your account has. Paste it into a podcast app once and season one is there — every episode, in order, beside the shows you already follow. The address, with a button to copy it, is on your account page.

Most apps put the option behind a + or a search box. The wording moves between versions; if what you see does not match, look for add by URL, add RSS or paste a link.

  • Apple Podcasts — iPhone and iPad. Library, then the ••• button at the top right, then Follow a Show by URL. Paste the address and tap Follow. On older versions that button reads Edit, in the same corner.
  • Apple Podcasts — Mac. File → Follow a Show by URL, paste, click Follow.
  • Overcast. The + at the top right, then Add URL. Paste and tap Done.
  • Pocket Casts. Open Discover and paste the address into the search box at the top. The show appears; tap it, then Subscribe.
  • Castro. Open the search tab, paste the address, and add the show.
  • Podcast Addict (Android). The +, then the search icon, paste the address, and tick private feed before adding.
  • AntennaPod (Android). The +, then Add Podcast by RSS address.
  • Anything else. If your app can add a show by URL, the address works in it. It is an ordinary podcast feed; the only difference is that it is yours.

If an app refuses it, the usual cause is a truncated address — copy it with the button rather than by hand. If that is not it, write to us with the app you are using.

Help with an order

Write from the address you bought with if you can — that address is your account, so it saves a round trip. Things we sort out most often:

  • Your sign-in link did not arrive. Check spam first: the mail comes from hello@leastsuspected.com. If it is not there, tell us and we will send another.
  • A sign-in link that has stopped working. They are single use and expire 15 minutes after they are sent, which is deliberate — ask for a fresh one any time.
  • A feed that has stopped updating, or an app that will not take the address — the steps for each app are above.
  • You bought it and cannot reach it. Tell us and we will fix it, then work out why.
  • A refund. Within 24 hours, no reason needed — see the refund policy.

Something wrong in an episode

This matters more to us than anything else on this page. Every narration paragraph in the show cites a record, so a mistake is findable and fixable.

Send the episode and the timestamp — the transcripts carry a timestamp on every paragraph, so it is easy to give. Corrections are made to the transcript and noted on the episode page, as well as answered in the mail back.

Media enquiries

Also hello@leastsuspected.com. Put Media in the subject line and it will be picked out.

Interviews, press questions, festival and awards submissions, syndication, and anything about how the show is made or sourced all go to the same address. If you are writing on a deadline, say so and say when — it will be treated as one.
